Origin Furka, Goms, Wallis, Switzerland
Description A fine, well defined group of Adularia crystals typical of the Alpine clefts of Switzerland, showing an unusually transparent nature with an attractive dusting of fine grey-green Chlorite preferentially deposited on some of the Adularia crystal faces.
These Adularia crystals are particularly crisp with a high lustre and show twinning characteristic of the mineral.
A nice example that would grace any Feldspar collection.
