Material Cerussite Pseudomorph after Anglesite.
Origin Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia
Description A rare example of Cerussite crystals having completely replaced pre-existing euhedral Anglesites which were coated with a thin layer of micro botryoidal Goethite. The fibrous Cerussite is visible through areas where the goethite has disseminated on one main crystal only. The other crystals showing the distinct Anglesite crystal shape are still complete with their thin coating of goethite. A rare and fine example of a pseudomorph from a classic location.
