Material Chromium rich Tremolite
Origin (Locality) D-Block Mine, Merelani Hills (Mererani), Lelatema Mts, Simanjiro District, Manyara Region, Tanzania.
Description A super example of a single crystal of Tremolite free of matrix and coloured rich green by the presence of chromium in the structure. The termination of the crystal is complex and stepped possibly indicating twinning within the crystal.
A large and fine example from a location better known for the gem mineral Tanzanite.
